heya people,

its that special, golden time of year: boxing day, and a few days after. That lovely time when everyone is rushing to the returns desk, people are blocking the aisles for no reason, stores are putting out all of their crappy stuff that they could not sell before... And don't get me started on parking! oh my, all the common sense goes out of peoples heads as they rush in front of cars, or park haphazardly and block the lane because they are too lazy to correct themselves.

Ah yes, its the most wonderful time of the year, when no one is stopping to look at the prices or quality, they just want quantity. want, want, WANT! everything is on sale, and you NEED to get these pairs of shoes because their on sale! never mind that their ugly, or they are falling apart. OR a brand new purse, that is at least a hundred dollars but is really only worth nine or ten. Say, what about that new perfume or cologne? surely we all need some of that, despite the fact that you are coughing and weezing from the stink and alcohol. but hey, it has a brand name, and the bottle looks cool, so why not?

Oh, and what about that nice dress? its got a nice color to it, and a sort of cool design. sure, its poorly cut and is made with a material that will fall apart in the wash, but it comes from a big name company, so its gotta be cool, right? and its only 120 dollars. i have 150 dollars, so i can totally afford it. oh, and don't forget the accessories and make up! Look at those earings! their ugly and gaudy, and really dont do anything for my face, but it sort of goes with the dress, and their only 4 dollars, it says so on the tag! and its on sale! YIPEE! See this eye shadow? i think that if i put enough layers of lime green up to my eye brows its bound to look good. models put that much make up on all the time in the posters and magazines and they look good, so i can too!

Ah, the stupidity of shoppers this time of year... its kinda sad. common sense very obviously isnt so common.
